Homestead

the area, but it will be their first appearance at the Festivities.
Collies, Spaniels, Terriers and many more breeds will be performing
in South Gardens.
Knockhundred
Shuttles make a welcome return this year. The men and
women who dance and play for Knockhundred come from all sorts of
trades and professions. Doctors and nurses, teachers and students,
architects and builders have all been attracted to the team along
with engineers, solicitors, hairdressers and furniture restorers.
Team members travel from as far a field as Portsmouth, Fareham and
Guildford to meet up with the Sussex-based members.
The
Human Fruit Machine
Whilst strictly speaking not an event in itself, this unusual
combination of performance art and a game of chance has proved to be
a popular feature in The Street. Last year’s picture shows how
miserable the weather was. Despite this there was clearly a great
deal of fun being had by all!
